We are seeking an energetic, dependable, and team-oriented Food Service Worker to join our 5-star dietary team at our Bangor Home. If you enjoy working with people and take pride in providing excellent service, we'd love to have you join our team!

Responsibilities

As a Food Service Worker, you will help ensure our residents receive nutritious meals and a positive dining experience. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing, portioning, and serving meals and beverages
• Setting up dining and food service areas before meals
• Assisting with meal service and ensuring residents receive meals according to established procedures
• Stocking food, supplies, and service areas
• Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas
• Completing dishwashing and post-meal clean-up
• Following all food safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures
• Properly storing food and supplies and maintaining clean, organized work areas
• Assisting the dietary team with other duties as needed

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, dependable, and committed to excellent customer service
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment
• Able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and coworkers
• Attentive to cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation
• Willing to work every other weekend as part of the regular schedule
• Previous food service, dietary, healthcare, or institutional food service experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate
