MALE Caregiver Companion / HHA / CNA - ENGLISH SPEAKING

Male Caregiver Position

We are looking for compassionate male caregivers to be part of our team and join us in our mission of enhancing seniors' lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

1-3 hour shifts: $20 - $30 per hour

4+ hour shifts: starting at $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but not limited to:

• Perform activities of daily living and provide companionship for our clients in their homes
• Personal hygiene including but not limited to bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting
• Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
• Transportation for appointments and errands

Qualifications and Skills

• Preferred CNA or HHA license or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including lifting and transferring up to 50 pounds
• Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Must have an active CPR Certification or be willing to get certified (training provided)
• Proof of current TB testing
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
• Must have an active State of Florida Level 2 Background Check or pass one
