About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: RN Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7 AM) Experience: Minimum years of experience preferred License: Active RN license required Certifications: TNCC, BLS, ALS, PALS (or ENPC) Must-Have: Trauma experience highly preferred Description: Nights shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. Weekend requirements: 6 shifts per 6-week schedule. The unit has 41 beds and sees 135+ patients a day. The patient ratio is 4:1. Patient population includes Stroke, Acute Coronary Syndrome, Diabetic, and Acute Kidney Disease. The facility is in active pursuit of becoming a level 3 trauma center. It is a Primary Stroke Center and an Accredited Chest Pain Center with a 24/7 Cath Lab. Level 3 NICU is available. Crisis Prevention Intervention training is required upon extension.
