Alyeska Builders, LLC is looking to add additional skilled Drywall Specialists to our team!

Job Description

• Installing drywall.
• Tape and finish drywall seams.
• Hanging sheetrock in homes and businesses.
• Framing when needed.
• Working with tools to complete projects.
• Understanding building codes and ensuring compliance.
• Completing daily job reports for work performed.
• Assisting with inventory tracking and material take-offs for applicable projects.
• Maintaining professional appearance and job site.

Job Qualifications

Experience in hanging, taping, mudding and finishing drywall, texture and paint. Good overall knowledge of all trades a plus.

- Minimum (2) years experience.

- Valid driver's license.

- Willing & able to pass a drug test.

- Easily lift over 50lbs

Employment Requirements

OSHA-10 Certification

All field and other applicable employees including but not limited to field, foreman and superintendents are required to hold a valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification prior to beginning employment. If you do not currently possess this certification, Alyeska Builders will provide access to an approved OSHA-10 training course at no cost to you. The training must be completed on your own time and submitted to the company prior to your hire date.

Failure to provide proof of a completed OSHA10 training and certification may result in termination of employment and/or disqualification of hire.

Driving Record & Compliance

Positions that require operation of a company vehicle or driving on behalf of Alyeska Builders are subject to motor vehicle record (MVR) reviews upon hire and on an annual basis thereafter. Continued employment in a driving capacity is contingent upon maintaining a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record. Employees are required by company policy and applicable law to report any motor vehicle violation, including but not limited to a DUI, license suspension, or any other traffic-related offense, to Alyeska Builders within 48 hours of the incident. Failure to report such violations may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

Holding a valid drivers license with a clean driving record is a condition of employment. Receiving a major violation, a suspension or revocation or frequent citations may also result in termination of employment.

Continued Education

Alyeska Builders is committed to supporting ongoing employee development and maintaining high industry standards. All employees are required to complete at least one (1) company-approved continued education or training course every six (6) months as a condition of continued employment. Alyeska Builders provides access to approved training materials at no cost; however, all continued education must be completed on the employee's own time.

Additional Notes

- Company work trucks for job sites. We do not expect team members to drive their own vehicles to job sites, etc.

- OSHA 10 training provided for all new team members that do not already have the certification.

- DOT Health cards / physicals paid for by company for all new team members that do not already have a DOT health card.

Schedule Details

Our crew works year round - ability to work overtime is required.

Monday - Friday is standard, however, Saturdays are common based on work load on any given week. Summer season especially, Saturdays are common. We do take long holiday weekends, and our team members rotate taking time off to enjoy our Alaskan summers!
