- # CMP Maintenance Specialist (PM Tech) - Nights 1Applylocations: Austin (Ed Bluestein, Manufacturing)time type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-10063687**Summary**The Equipment Maintenance Specialist is responsible for performing preventive maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom environment. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting. Candidates must be comfortable wearing cleanroom attire, standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs, and handling hazardous materials with appropriate PPE.**Responsibilities*** Perform preventive maintenance on CMP Polisher and Scrubber equipment following standard work procedures.* Maintain and service equipment such as:* AMAT Mirra Polisher* AMAT Mesa Scrubber* AMAT Mirra-Mesa DIDO tool* LAM OnTrak Scrubbers* Monitor and analyze tool performance data; recommend improvements to maintenance procedures.* Communicate equipment status clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.* Provide detailed written updates to engineers and technicians across shifts.* Rebuild and clean subassemblies for semiconductor equipment.* Support support equipment and manage chemical handling tasks.* Ensure adequate inventory of consumables.* Follow written procedures with precision and attention to detail.* Apply knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.* Maintain professional conduct in a fast-paced production environment.* Uphold 5S principles and maintain organized workspaces.Job Qualifications* 2–5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance preferred.* Strong mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills.* Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.* Demonstrated problem-solving and project management abilities.* Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) in manufacturing.* Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift.* Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office and Excel.* Strong interpersonal and communication skills* Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.* High school diploma or equivalent required.* 2–3 years of experience in equipment maintenance and/or parts management.* Preferred: 3–5 years of wafer fab experience focused on production equipment.* Preferred: Completion of 12+ credit hours toward an Associate degree in electronics from an accredited institution.More information about NXP in the United States...NXP is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer regardless of age, color, national origin, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, marital status, status as a disabled veteran and/or veteran of the Vietnam Era or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
