Solar Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities Oversee multiple active projects, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives are met. Coordinate with Construction Managers, field teams, and customers to drive successful project execution. Monitor project-level financial performance, including labor, equipment, subcontractor costs, and forecasting. Prepare and communicate project status, recovery plans, and operational reports to leadership. Manage project documentation, schedules, payroll, quality, and safety reporting. Coordinate team meetings, site visits, and project communications. Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and project execution. Supervise Construction Managers, Site Supervisors, Crew Leaders, and Technicians. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 4+ years of project or operations management experience in construction, preferably within commercial solar or renewable energy. Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and contract administration. Experience managing multiple projects and cross-functional teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (advanced Excel) and project management software. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Experience Commercial & Industrial (C&I) rooftop and ground-mount solar. Strong understanding of electrical construction. Experience with project financial management, forecasting, and resource planning. Hybrid role with travel to project sites as needed.
