Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local manufacturing company in Watseka, IL, to hire a dependable Assembler! You'll assemble parts and subassemblies, inspect materials, and ensure everything fits together correctly while keeping safety and efficiency top of mind. What You'll Do:
- Assemble parts and subassemblies using hand tools or machines
- Position parts for proper fit and alignment
- Inspect materials and report defects to supervisor or quality inspector
- Work with other assembly stations to maintain production efficiency
- Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions
- Follow all safety procedures to protect yourself and others
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Keen attention to detail to ensure products fit together correctly
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow work instructions
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Previous manufacturing experience helpful but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Perform repetitive hand and arm tasks
- Grip, tighten, and fasten small parts
- Lift and carry parts or materials weighing up to 50 pounds
