Job Description
TITLE
Instrumentation Coordinator - Sterile Processing

SCHEDULE
Shift: 1st shift, 06:00 - 14:30, Monday - Friday; occasional scheduled holidays

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I preferred
- Certifications: CBSPD or CRCST (HSPA/formerly IAHCSMM)
- Experience with Medivator and Censitrac systems
- Sterrad and steam sterilization experience

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, sterilize, assemble, track, and deliver surgical instruments and equipment.
- Serve as the liaison between the Operating Room (OR) and sterile processing teams.
- Standardize instrument trays across multiple sites.
- Manage inventory and organization of surgical trays and preference cards.
- Participate in sterilization monitoring and testing processes.
- Handle case cart preparation and assist in scope/probe reprocessing.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Orientation: 40 hours
- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required; Flu vaccine: Required (medical exemptions only)
- Background checks and compliance requirements must be met.
