Automotive Service Technician

Our Chapman Payson Auto Center location in Payson, AZ is currently seeking Automotive Service Technicians who will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across a wide range of vehicle systems. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring customer vehicles are safe, reliable, and performing at their best. This is a great opportunity for experienced technicians looking to grow their careers in a supportive, high-performing shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C
- Perform work according to repair orders and dealership standards
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and document findings and recommendations
- Communicate additional repair needs and time estimates to Service Advisors
- Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
- Accurately document all work performed
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of automotive diagnostic and repair experience required
- ASE certification preferred
- GM or Stellantis certifications are a plus
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Must have your own tools
- Valid Arizona drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Must live within commuting distance of Payson or be willing to relocate
