Embrace a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners as a full-time Occupational Therapist in an elementary school setting near Independence, MO. This contract position runs from January 11, 2027, to April 13, 2027, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact in three engaging school environments. You'll provide direct, hands-on therapy and play a pivotal role in enhancing students' day-to-day lives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Occupational Therapist licensure (required)
• Experience in school-based OT services, especially with elementary-aged children
• Strong time management skills to coordinate services across multiple school sites
• Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with educators, families, and staff
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, individualized support to every student

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct OT services to students, following a structured weekly schedule:
  • Mondays: 10 students
  • Tuesdays: 7 students
  • Wednesdays: 10 students
  • Thursdays: 8 students
  • Fridays reserved for evaluations, planning, paperwork, and testing
• Travel between three elementary schools to provide consistent, high-quality care
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Document progress and maintain accurate records, supporting students' IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate OT strategies into the classroom
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to an inclusive, supportive environment
