Key Rehab is looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant, in any capacity (full time, part time or PRN) to join our team in a skilled nursing facility.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Key Rehab, you will:

  • Implement care plans: Execute the patient care plan developed by the Physical Therapist (PT), ensuring adherence to established protocols.
  • Advance patient progress: Facilitate patient advancement through their treatment plan, making adjustments as directed by the PT to optimize outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team: Work closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate and enhance patient care, ensuring the achievement of individual goals.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Accredited education: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Active licensure: Current PTA license in the state of practice.
  • Ethical compliance: Adherence to Key Rehab's Code of Ethical Conduct, as well as state and federal regulations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills: Ability to efficiently manage tasks and address challenges with effective solutions.
  • Flexibility and team collaboration: Adaptable to changing situations and committed to working seamlessly within a team environment.
  • Exceptional communication: Outstanding oral and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
  • Experience with geriatric population: Prior experience working with elderly patients, demonstrating an understanding of their unique needs.
  • Knowledge of Medicare billing regulations: Familiarity with current Medicare billing practices and guidelines.
