Part-Time Accounting Associate

Part‑Time Accounting Associate – Oshkosh Snell branch. Prior Credit Union experience preferred. Responsibilities Perform a variety of activities to maintain financial and accounting records of the Credit Union Prepare, pay, and file accounts payable and research and resolve discrepancies Process, post, and balance ACH transactions Prepare, post, and reconcile general ledger transactions for investment activity and schedules Assist members as required, including handling debit and credit fraud issues Analyze and reconcile the general ledger for various accounts as assigned Review daily cash balances Research and adjust open items, cash imbalances, and variances Set up and run all prepaid and fixed asset items in the depreciation program Process bill pay and share drafts Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills Strong communication skills and attention to detail to listen to and identify members’ financial needs Problem‑solving ability to make decisions, take initiative, and balance accounts efficiently Intermediate computer skills and a courteous demeanor in a busy work environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with others Work 20 hours per week High school diploma or GED required Benefits Hourly pay Paid time off 401(k) with matching Incentives Voluntary benefits options Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Winnebago Community Credit Union is an Equal Opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Oshkosh Corporation
