Lead Information Security Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the cybersecurity and information security industry, is seeking a Lead Information Security Analyst to join their team. As a Lead Information Security Analyst, you will be part of the Governance team supporting strategic initiatives and operational improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Charlotte, NC

What's the Job?

• Lead analysis of IAM governance processes, controls, metrics, and risk indicators to identify gaps, improvement opportunities, and emerging risks.
• Develop executive-ready communications, presentations, reporting, and recommendations that clearly articulate governance outcomes, risks, and priorities.
• Evaluate governance effectiveness and recommend enhancements to controls, monitoring coverage, performance metrics, and operating routines.
• Drive modernization initiatives focused on automation, AI-enabled capabilities, workflow optimization, and reduction of manual governance activities.
• Create and maintain governance playbooks, procedures, operating models, and implementation plans that support scalable execution.

What's Needed?

• Experience in IAM, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Risk Management, Governance, or Controls functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information into meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Demonstrated experience assessing controls, metrics, risk indicators, governance processes, or operational effectiveness.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including development of executive-facing presentations, reporting, and briefing materials.
• Proven project management and execution experience, including managing complex initiatives, dependencies, stakeholders, and deliverables.
