About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Information Security to take on a pivotal role in leading the organization's information security function. This strategic and hands-on leadership position involves setting and owning the security strategy, program, and annual objectives for both corporate operations and the platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the evolution of technical security capabilities, leading the CyberDefense, Product Security, and GRC teams, and ensuring that security is embedded in all aspects of the business. This includes maintaining audit readiness, overseeing required certifications, and serving as the senior security representative with various external stakeholders. Applicants for the Head of Information Security role at the company should have a substantial background in information security, with a focus on leadership and ownership of security strategy and program delivery. The role requires a strong understanding of cloud and SaaS security, secure development, identity and access management, and incident response. Experience in regulated environments, particularly in SaaS or life sciences, is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and developing internal security teams, as well as holding external providers accountable. Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HITRUST, and security certifications like CISSP or CISM, is a plus. The ability to make pragmatic, risk-based security decisions that align with commercial objectives while protecting the company's security and assurance commitments is essential.
