Industrial Maintenance Electrician - Canton, OH$33.00 - $35.50/HRFull-Time Permanent Position with Benefits 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (M-F)A Canton, Ohio area manufacture seeks to hire an Industrial Maintenance Electrician who has experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, installing and repairing industrial electrical systems.ResponsibilitiesInstall, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systemsDiagnose and repair 480V three-phase electrical equipmentMaintain and troubleshoot high-voltage electrical systems up to 69,000 voltsTroubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and ladder logic systemsMaintain AC and DC motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and electrical controlsService overhead cranes, air compressors, induction furnaces, and production equipmentRead and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawingsPerform preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtimeAssist in training and mentoring electrical apprentices through the company's learner programFollow OSHA regulations, National Electrical Code (NEC), and all company safety proceduresRequirementsValid Journeyman Electrician Card (required)High School Diploma or GEDCompletion of a recognized Electrical Apprenticeship Program with on-the-job trainingExperience in heavy industrial manufacturing, steel mills, foundries, or similar industrial environments preferredExperience troubleshooting PLC systems and industrial automation equipmentKnowledge of industrial electrical tools and testing equipmentAbility to operate man lifts, aerial lifts, and scaffoldingStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a foundry or machine shop environmentExposure to heat, cold, dust, vibration, and industrial noiseFrequently lift 25-50 poundsComfortable working at heights using ladders, cranes, scaffolding, and aerial liftsAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including:Hard hatSteel-toe bootsSafety glassesHearing protectionAdditional PPE as requiredBenefitsCompany Paid Premiums (Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance)401(k) with high-percentage company matching.Paid Vacation, Paid HolidaysPaid advanced technical training to increase employee certificationsCandidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
