What You’ll Do Perform auto maintenance duties, including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush, spark plugs and vehicle inspection. Perform battery testing, maintenance and replacement, and testing and repairing of starting and charging electrical systems. Perform various repairs including tires, safety inspections, rear main seal, timing covers, radiators, suspension components and interior/exterior components. Diagnose and repair brake systems, steering and suspension systems. Perform evacuation and recharge on the AC system. Perform maintenance on equipment. Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts. May up‑fit new vehicles with necessary equipment. Comply with applicable procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires, and disposable trash. Who You Are You’re a quick learner – especially when it comes to cars and how they work. You’re a team player who always arrives at the shop ready to provide excellent work. Required 1 or more years of related work experience. The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles. Safe driver; valid driver’s license required. Preferred A high school diploma or GED. Current ASE Certifications: G1, A4, A5 status when required by leadership. Compensation Hourly pay rate is in the range of $24.09 - $36.11/hour. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as location and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program. Employees are also eligible for a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Additional paid time off is available for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer time, military leave, and parental leave.
