Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)Job Type: Full-timeLocation: Princeton, NJWe are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certified with experience prescribing to the psychiatric population.This position is hybrid requiring at least 2 days weekly in our Freehold, NJ location. Evening hours may also be required.To support our commitment to excellent patient care and a positive work/life balance for our team, there are a few measures that we have put in place:Ample Charting Time built into scheduleDaily Office Hour to complete any additional administrative, training or collaborative tasksDedicated Administrative Assistant for the prescribing team who is able to help with completing prior authorizations, communicating with clients and scheduling collaborative meetings as neededRole Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Perform psychiatric evaluations and medication management services and maintain clinical records accordinglyConduct necessary psychiatric case managementProvide and demonstrate APN knowledge base as a resource for the implementation of each patient's treatment plan.Prescribe medication to patients of the practice when clinically indicatedPreparing and attending to all reports necessary for provider engagementUtilize associated EMR system for scheduling, telehealth visits, and appropriate patient documentationCollaborate with members of the multidisciplinary treatment team both inside and outside of the Tree of Life family as appropriateComply with local, state, and federal confidentiality laws and regulationsAbide by policies and procedures, and associated compliance and protocol measuresBenefits include but are not limited to:Life InsuranceVision InsuranceDental InsuranceMedical InsuranceShort term Disability InsuranceRetirement MatchingPTO/Sick DaysContinuing Education AssistanceMalpractice InsuranceRetirement Savings Plans: 401(k), 403(b), etc.Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000RequirementsActive and unrestricted APRN, DPN, or NP licensure in the state of New JerseyPMHNP-BC preferredBoard Certified in specialtyValid and unrestricted CDS & DEA in the State of New Jersey.Experience providing care to clients with an array of mental health disorders across the lifespanMust have at least 1 year experience working in mental healthExperience working with children a PLUS!Active and unrestricted APRN, DPN, or NP licensure in the state of New York and/or Pennsylvania.
