Senior Financial Analyst

Overview Vaco is seeking a senior financial analyst for a manufacturing client in West Phoenix. Responsibilities Contribute to annual budgeting efforts and build forecasts from operational inputs Review and interpret performance metrics such as staffing levels, productivity, overtime usage, waste, and inventory trends Conduct detailed variance and cost analyses to uncover patterns and improvement areas Work closely with site leadership to gain operational insight and translate findings into actionable recommendations Monitor short-term performance (daily/weekly) and help track progress against targets Create customized reports and assist in preparing materials for leadership review Proactively identify ways to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance forecast reliability Assist with financial planning activities and maintain adherence to internal controls Partner with teams across finance and operations to support shared objectives Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (Required) 3-5 years of FP&A experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI), and ERP software Understanding of manufacturing cost structures, capital expenditures, and inventory management Ability to go on site 5 days a week Salary: $110-115k plus bonus Note To be immediately considered, local candidates to Arizona only.
