Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Cleveland, OH | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Weekends as needed | Float coverage to area facilities as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a respiratory/neuro diagnostics setting on night shifts
• Float to additional affiliated facilities as needed, which may include various regional campuses
• Perform respiratory assessments, treatments, and monitoring in accordance with facility protocols
• Maintain compliance with all facility-required modules, competencies, and annual training requirements
• Complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Active Ohio RRT license — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• Active NBRC certification — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted
• Active BLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) required within 12 months of start date and updated annually
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from assignments worked within the past 12 months are required (co-worker references will not be accepted)
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in neuro diagnostics or a related specialty area
• Familiarity with multi-site or float pool environments
• Experience working in a large academic or health system setting
