Owner/Operator - Delivery Driver - Box Truck Contractor - 1099 Knoxville, Knoxville, TN, US 6 days ago Requisition ID: 1694 Pace is seeking an Owner/Operator/Independent Contractor with a 24-26' box truck (liftgate required) in our Knoxville/Chattanooga, TN market. As a Box Truck Delivery Driver in Pace's Preferred Carrier Network, you will make deliveries on a multi-stop route in and around the Knoxville area picking up daily from our Chattanooga warehouse. Most routes are approximately 150-300 miles round trip and operate Monday through Friday. A typical delivery will include loading/unloading freight, delivery scanning, app usage to update your delivery statuses in real time, and getting your paperwork signed. Having excellent customer service and maintaining a high degree of safety and professionalism is a must as most of the deliveries are taking place with staff present. Key Responsibilities for Box Truck Drivers: Pick up freight and deliver to designated stores. Break down palletized freight at point of delivery as needed. Operate a pallet jack to load/unload freight. Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries. Maintain required insurance. Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
