CNC Machinist Position

Twin City Staffing is hiring a CNC machinist to join a growing precision manufacturing team in Elk River, MN! In this role, you will set up and operate single- and multi-spindle CNC machinery, interpret complex blueprints, and conduct quality checks using precision tools. Hours:

2nd Shift: 4:30 pm 3:00 am, Monday Thursday
Weekend Day Shift: 6:30 am 6:30 pm, Friday Sunday (Work 36 hours, get paid for 40!)
Weekend Night Shift: 5:30 pm 6:00 am, Friday Sunday (Work 36 hours, get paid for 40!)

Duties of the CNC machinist:

Set up, adjust, and operate single-spindle and multi-spindle CNC machinery
Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical schematics
Inspect finished parts using precision tools including micrometers, calipers, and height gauges
Perform offsets, tool changes, and machine adjustments to maintain production tolerances

Requirements of the CNC machinist:

Minimum 2+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience operating single- or multi-spindle machines
Proficiency utilizing precision inspection equipment, including calipers and micrometers
Experience with CNC setup and basic programming is preferred
Physical capability to stand for extended shifts and lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
Flexibility to work mandatory overtime as production demand requires
