As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to residents and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and policy violations. Monitor access to the location, observe visitor and vehicle activity, and report suspicious or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel. Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and log entries in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
