Pay Rate $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, visitor screening, and/or access control activities appropriate for a healthcare location. Monitor entry points, greet patients, visitors, and staff, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to direct individuals according to site protocols. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed. Maintain awareness of front desk activity, document daily events and unusual occurrences, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security‑related concerns. Minimum Requirements Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
