Obstetrics & Gynecology, Full Time Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician

Jackson and Coker is seeking an OB/GYN Physician for locum tenens call coverage in Texas, with assignments available starting as soon as credentialed in July and August. This role involves providing 24-hour beeper call coverage, managing 1-2 births per day, and occasionally seeing unassigned patients. The position offers flexibility with scheduling, allowing the physician to choose 1 to 2 weeks per month. Practice Info ~1-2 births per day ~4 family practice OB's that also handle some deliveries ~ Locums OB's will sometimes see unassigned patients ~ Level 1 NICU currently, with efforts to take to level II ~ Covering for the 1 other OB ~ EMR: EPIC Responsibilities Provide 7am - 7am beeper call coverage Manage 1-2 births per day See unassigned patients as needed Compensation ~ Weekly Direct Deposit Benefits Top Rated Malpractice Insurance In-House Travel Agency Shift & Schedule ~ Provider 1 week per month up to 2 weeks (pick your own schedule) ~ Starts ASAP (ideally November 1) ~7am - 7am beeper call Requirements Texas Medical License Board Certification or Board Eligibility within 5 years
