BHI Energy is currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator which will be based at Sutton Steam Plant, located in Wilmington, NC. This is a local hire position and will not pay any relocation fees. However, this position will require traveling to other plants for Maintenance and you will be eligible to receive per-diem when you are traveling away from home base. We are looking to hire multiple positions based on experience level. The applicant must have at least 3 years of experience in Heavy Equipment Operating! Dirt work experience is a plus along with the ability to read blueprints. The job will require operating Bulldozers, Excavators, Front End Loaders, Vibratory Roller, Skid Steer, Mini Ex. You will report to the site manager. You will pass a drug test. You will pass a security background. Must be 18 years of age. High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
