Summary: The Shift Supervisor will provide hands-on leadership for production operations in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for supervising production employees, coordinating daily operations, ensuring production schedules are met, maintaining safety and quality standards, troubleshooting operational issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives while partnering with maintenance, quality, and plant leadership.

As a Shift Supervisor, You Will:

• Lead, coach, and develop production employees on assigned shift.
• Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and operational goals are consistently achieved.
• Monitor production processes and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with maintenance to schedule preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.
• Enforce safety policies, conduct safety observations, and maintain a safe work environment.
• Conduct employee training, coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain staffing levels and assign daily production responsibilities.
• Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Maintain accurate production reports, shift documentation, and operational records.
• Identify opportunities for Lean Manufacturing, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, supply chain, and leadership teams to support plant performance.

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of manufacturing leadership or shift supervision experience.
• Experience leading production teams within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production equipment, quality systems, and safety practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or operational excellence initiatives preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and overtime as required.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred.

Salary: $70K-$90K annually
