Your future role at a glance Location: Elk Grove Village, IL Facility: Ascension Alexian Brothers Department: Cardiac Cath Labs Schedule: Day shift Full-time Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000.00 Salary: $40.51 - $56.45 per hour How you\'ll make an impact in this role Perform active physiological monitoring of vital signs (heart rate, rhythm, pressures, and saturations). Routinely perform and result intra-procedure patient testing and hemodynamic calculations, including oxygen saturation, cardiac output, and shunting. Anticipate and interpret procedural changes, such as those indicating necessary catheter position adjustments. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of varied procedures and the associated equipment and supplies used for performance. Maintain strict asepsis, ensuring proper handling and preparation of materials. What minimum qualifications you\'ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate\'s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
