We are growing quickly and are looking for an organized, energetic and highly dependable Recruiting & Onboarding Coordinator to take ownership of our day-to-day caregiver recruitment and onboarding process.You will keep applicants moving from their first application through screening, hiring, orientation and becoming ready to work.This is a busy, office-based role with lots of moving pieces. It is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people but also loves organization, follow-up and getting things completed properly.What You’ll DoManage incoming caregiver applicationsReview applications and conduct initial candidate screeningSpeak with applicants and identify promising caregiver candidatesSchedule interviews, on-boarding appointments and orientationsKeep good candidates engaged and moving through the hiring processIssue routine employment offers following established guidelinesSet up new hires in our systemsCoordinate background checks and driving documentationCollect I-9 documentation, licenses/certifications, and other required recordsMaintain complete and accurate caregiver personnel filesMonitor expiring credentials and obtain updated documentationCoordinate orientation and required trainingEnsure new caregivers have completed all requirements before being cleared to workAnswer routine caregiver questions about on-boarding, documentation and company processesPrepare payroll and timekeeping exceptions for the Office Manager to reviewMaintain weekly recruitment and on-boarding numbersHelp with phones and general office support as neededYou May Be A Great Fit If You:Are exceptionally organized and enjoy keeping track of lots of moving piecesCommunicate warmly and professionally by phone, text and emailUnderstand that good applicants need quick follow-upAre persistent about getting missing documents and tasks completedNotice when something is missing or does not look rightCan follow established processes without needing constant remindersWork accurately even when things get busyTake pride in keeping complete, organized recordsCan handle routine questions independently and know when to escalate somethingEnjoy being part of a small team where everyone helps when neededExperience And RequirementsPrevious experience in recruitment, on-boarding, HR, staffing, healthcare administration or a busy office environment is preferredExperience recruiting or on-boarding caregivers, CNAs, home health aides or other high-volume hourly employees would be especially valuableStrong telephone and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent organization and attention to detailComfortable using applicant tracking, payroll/HR and everyday computer systemsExperience with home-care software is helpful, but not requiredAble to handle confidential employee information appropriatelyReliable, dependable and able to follow through without constant supervisionAble to complete all required employment screening and trainingWhat Success Looks LikeStrong applicants receive a quick, professional response and don’t get lost in the hiring process.
