To learn more visit Welcome to Wellington Regional Medical Center | Wellington, FL Job Requirements Greets, collects and processes all incoming patients to gather the necessary demographic information required in accordance with all regulations and hospital policies to provide care for the patients, procure reimbursement verification from third parties, and maintain records appropriately. Has a willingness to be cross-trained and will float to other areas or departments if the need arises. Recognizes the signs and symptoms of stroke and calling a stroke alert overhead. Verbalizes stroke alert process. Assigns temporary identification of patient (ED only), completes full registration upon patient arrival to the ED. Maintains currency in stroke knowledge by completing the annual 1 hour online training. Qualifications High School or GED Diploma preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in acute care facility or related environment preferred, but not necessary. Willingness to be cross-trained in other areas. (Admitting, Business Office, ER) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented and organizational skills required.
