Registered Nurse ICU

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ICU RN for night shifts to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, cardiac-heavy environment. This role requires flexibility to float across units and handle vasoactive drips with proficiency in rhythm interpretation.

Responsibilities:

• Administer ICU-level care to critically ill patients, utilizing advanced cardiac, respiratory, and vascular knowledge.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, ECG rhythms, and vasoactive drips, responding promptly to changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Meditech electronic health records.
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and required certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with 2 or more years of ICU experience.
• Demonstrate competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and vasoactive medication management.
• Possess current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications.
• Be adaptable and willing to float across multiple hospital units as needed.
• Experience with Meditech electronic health records highly preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
