You can always count on us to minimize project waste, maintain an organized project schedule, and deliver a high-quality product.Job ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes bid documents, in conjunction with Business Development, to qualify targeted opportunities.Bid Management: Manage the entire bid process, from reviewing bid documents and coordinating with subcontractors to ensuring timely submission.Cost Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of project specifications, blueprints, and other documents to assess project costs and identify potential cost-saving measures accurately.Construction Software Expertise: Utilize proficiency in construction software, such as Bluebeam, QuoteSoft, and other industry tools, to improve estimation accuracy and efficiency.Budget Alignment: Work closely with project managers and teams to ensure estimates align with project budgets.Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers for competitive pricing on plumbing materials and equipment.Client Interaction: Communicate with clients during the bid process to clarify project requirements, respond to inquiries, and provide essential information.Review Company jobs and compare on a timely basis to as-sold estimates to confirm the accuracy of the estimate.QualificationsFive or more years of relevant conceptual plumbing with estimating experience, with a concentration in commercial, multifamily, hotels, and assisted living estimating.Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field (preferred).Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in construction software, including Bluebeam, QuoteSoft, and other relevant tools.Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Problem Solving: Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.Basic Proficiency in English required. Candidates must have a basic understanding of English for safety purposes and to communicate with colleagues, vendors, and contractors on-site effectively.
