About the Position

Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: OR Transplant CST Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required in liver transplant, large open belly cases, general, urology, thoracic, gynecological, scrub, aseptic technique, plastics, Whipple, liver resection, and free flap. License: Must possess a valid license prior to the start date. Certifications: BCLS and NBSTSAS required. Must-Have: Candidate must have experience scrubbing liver recipient transplants independently. Description: Candidates must be able to scrub liver recipient transplants independently. Please provide the last facility where you scrubbed liver transplant procedures. The shift is three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. There will be a call requirement of 40-60 hours in a six-week schedule, with holidays required. Daily average surgical case volume in this role is 35. The facility has a total of 22 operating rooms. Candidates must have experience with transplant procedures within the last two years. Strong experience and knowledge of aseptic technique are essential. Experience with special equipment such as Da Vinci XI is preferred. Floating within the hospital or to affiliated facilities is required. Candidates must work two out of three major holidays.
