We are seeking a dedicated Staff Psychiatrist to join the AIMergency team to provide high-quality psychiatric care across inpatient and nursing facility settings in the West Palm Beach region.

Position Overview

The Staff Psychiatrist will be responsible for conducting regular rounds at inpatient hospitals and nursing facilities approximately 34 times per week, providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric rounds in inpatient and nursing facility settings
• Complete evaluations, follow-ups, and medication management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams (nursing, social work, primary care, etc.)
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in treatment planning and discharge coordination when applicable
• Communicate effectively with facility staff and internal team members

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active and unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Experience in inpatient psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, or consult-liaison preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while remaining a team player
• Flexible availability for facility rounding schedule
