Procurement Manager

We have a Contract to Hire opportunity supporting a client that is undergoing platform modernization and operational transformation initiatives. The environment is fast paced with multiple active projects, including enterprise vendor management and contingent workforce initiatives. This role is focused on vendor management, sourcing, and labor/professional services support.
Key Responsibilities
• Support vendor management and strategic sourcing initiatives related to labor, professional services , and technology engagements
• Partner with internal business stakeholders to manage vendor relationships and support ongoing projects and operational initiatives
• Assist with contract lifecycle activities including SOWs, vendor onboarding, renewals, compliance, and supplier coordination
• Participate in sourcing activities including RFPs/RFIs, vendor evaluations, and negotiation support
• Help drive process improvement and operational consistency across vendor management programs
• Collaborate with teams involved in contingent workforce and vendor governance initiatives, including projects tied to vendor management platforms and workflow modernization
Preferred Background
• Experience in vendor management, strategic sourcing, contingent workforce programs, or professional services procurement
• Strong background supporting labor/vendor management initiatives rather than traditional purchasing environments
• Experience working within large enterprise environments, ideally within financial services or other highly regulated industries
• Familiarity with vendor governance, supplier management, SOWs, contract coordination, and stakeholder management
• Experience supporting projects related to vendor management systems or contingent workforce operations is a plus
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
