Unit Information: Respiratory Therapy (NICU)

Type of equipment: Ventilators (servo U, PB 980, MR1 transport vent, C1 Hamilton Medical) Bipap (V60, C1), F&P bubble CPAP, F&P HFNC EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile:

Skill Set: Must have: Critical care management for adult vent patients, Experience with vent weaning guidelines, Trach care management, Emergency and standard airway care for all patient population, EKG procedure, Blood gas analysis and technique to draw ABG sample, RT Medication administration, RT plan of care, assessment and progress evaluation, Oxygen therapy, Code Blue, Trauma, STEMI response, Documentation and charge for therapy provided, Physician communication, Safety standards and checklist completion, Infection prevention standards

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. NICU experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Blood gas analysis, Bedside Bronchoscopy assist, Emergency and routine airway management, EKG

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TX state license, NBRC RRT
