Tech - MLT/Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist

Job Description

Job Summary:
Performs clinical laboratory tests to assist in diagnosing and treating diseases, ensuring accurate and timely results. Collaborates with healthcare teams to support patient care through laboratory services.

Responsibilities:

Conducts a variety of laboratory tests following established procedures.
Calibrates and maintains laboratory equipment to ensure precision.
Documents test results accurately and promptly.
Adheres to safety and quality standards in the laboratory.
Participates in proficiency testing and quality assurance programs.

Qualifications:

Possesses at least one year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
Holds an Associates Degree from an accredited laboratory technology program.
Maintains a valid NYSED license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (092).
Demonstrates proficiency in laboratory procedures and instrumentation.
Possesses or is willing to obtain BLS certification.
