Post Doctoral Fellow

Overview The Biomedical Engineering Department at Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow to support innovative, interdisciplinary research in ocular drug delivery and retinal imaging. The Postdoctoral Researcher will play an active role in initiating new projects and disseminating research findings through national conferences and peer‑reviewed publications. Responsibilities Develop and optimize topical and/or SCS delivery systems. Develop appropriate techniques to investigate the bioavailability and stability of released drugs. Investigate biocompatibility in an animal model. Develop/collect ROP retinal images. Initiate and coordinate new projects. Collaborate on ongoing projects. Prepare documents for the dissemination of research findings at national meetings and/or publications in research journals. Compensation The semi‑monthly base salary range for this position is $60,000–$62,000, in compliance with the New Jersey Wage Transparency Act. Final salary will be based on the position’s scope, responsibilities, candidate’s qualifications, and departmental budget.
