You will report to the Manager of Production Planning and be located at Ogden, UT. You will support this role 100% onsite.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop production schedule to meet customer demands, guide material requirements, and set levels of manufacturing outputIncorporate manufacturing constraints and scheduled outages into production plan to improve use of manufacturing equipment and staffingMonitor inventory availability to eliminate unforeseen inventory impacts to production plansCommunicate across multiple departments to coordinate operation schedulesProvide Production Orders in appropriate sequence to initiate production on the shop floorIssue routine production reports such as order status requirementsAnalyze delayed production and recommend remedial actionsSupport implementation and continued management of MES and Planning tools such as SIMIOQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent. 3 years' related experience, in business, engineering, logistics planning, or production planning. APICS certification. Knowledge of integrated planning and scheduling concepts and techniques. Familiar with manufacturing processes, computer applications, and scheduling methods to control process flow through manufacturing shops.We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $54,000 to $67,500 per year.Why Westinghouse?
