Sales & Business Development Manager

Overview Responsible to drive profitable revenue growth my developing new business, expanding strategic customer relationships and increasing market penetration across Hardy Pro Air target industries. Description The Sales & Business Development Manager is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth by developing new business, expanding strategic customer relationships, and increasing market penetration across Hardy Pro-Air's target industries. The ideal candidate is highly proactive, strategic, and execution-oriented, with the ability to develop direct customer relationships and drive opportunities to close. This position requires a strong sense of urgency, ownership mentality, and the ability to independently create and execute growth plans while coordinating cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and leadership. Travel up to approximately 30% throughout North America. Key Responsibilities Increase quotation activity, conversion rates, and customer engagement. Maintain strong follow-up discipline and drive opportunities through the sales cycle. Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate opportunity forecasts. Provide manufacturer’s reps with technical, commercial, and strategic sales support. Develop and grow direct relationships with end users, OEMs, EPC firms, contractors, and industrial customers. Represent Hardy Pro-Air at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings. Strategic Planning & Execution Work closely with company leadership to identify strategic market opportunities and growth initiatives. Gather competitive intelligence and market feedback to support strategic decision-making. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, scientific, business, or related discipline preferred. MBA a plus, but not required 5+ years of consultative industrial B2B sales experience, preferably involving engineered equipment or industrial systems. Experience selling in direct and indirect sales channels Strong background in industrial capital equipment. Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. Organized with strong follow-through Growth-oriented mindset with willingness to challenge the status quo Ability to develop strategic sales plans and independently execute them. Comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial manufacturing environment.
