Summary:
We are looking for a team player to provide administrative and clerical support to help maintain an efficient office environment. The primary focus of this position will be to manage the front desk and reception area, answer the calls coming into the switchboard, route the calls appropriately, greet visitors and manage their access to the building, and handle general administrative support for multiple departments. This position requires attention to detail and great communication skills.
Reports to: Accounting Operations Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to operate office machinery including photocopier, ten-key adding machine, telephone, and computer.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Understanding of basic bookkeeping.
Ability to file documents both alphabetically and numerically.

Working Conditions:
This position operates in a professional office environment which may require sitting for extended periods.
Position requires routine use of office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, filing cabinets
Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Essential Job Functions:
Answer telephones, route calls, and take messages as needed.
Open and distribute mail.
Prepare outgoing mail.
File records (both paper and electronic) in the appropriate files.
Other duties as required.
