Director, GPO Partnerships

Cencora seeks a Director of GPO Partnerships to lead a team of National Account Sales Executives overseeing relationships with Group Purchasing Organizations and major healthcare customers. The role focuses on driving sales growth, customer retention, and cross-functional opportunities while reporting to the VP of GPO Partnerships.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop team of National Account Sales Executives managing GPO and national customer relationships
Build and maintain strategic relationships with National Accounts and GPO leadership to ensure satisfaction
Develop and implement Project Charters aligned with customer initiatives and track measurable results
Drive profitability by identifying cross-departmental selling opportunities and maximizing account value
Conduct quarterly business reviews and strategic customer meetings while resolving complex client issues

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, sales, marketing, or related field
Minimum five years directly related and progressively responsible sales or account management experience
Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, industry trends, and customer challenges
Proven ability to develop and own strategic sales forecasts and targets
Excellent consultative selling and presentation skills
Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and team development capabilities
Willingness to travel up to 50%
