Production Operator II

Order Loader

Responsible for loading completed orders onto correct trucks for delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assembles paperwork for each route and all orders to be delivered.
2. Confirms all orders are complete and together to load onto the correct truck for delivery.
3. Sorts and loads all the glass for the route runs.
4. Loads heavy glass onto L-bucks and then loads L-bucks onto trucks.
5. Loads boxed doors onto trucks.
6. Uses knowledge of how to properly handle glass and understands weight restrictions for different types of trucks to ensure that glass is not damaged in transit and truck is safe during delivery.
7. All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to read a tape measure and identify written measurements.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and follow directions.
• Strong team player.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift glass panels up to 75lbs. Mostly standing and walking.
