Pouch machine operator

·       The pay rate is 19.00 an hour

·       1st shift: 5:00 am to 5:00 pm

·       2nd shift: 5:00 pm to 5:00 am

·       The job location is in Grand Prairie, Texas 75050

·       Temp to Perm.

"It's a 12-hour rotating 2-2-3 schedule. You'll work 2 days, have 2 days off, work 3 days, have 2 days off, work 2 days, then have 3 days off. You get every other weekend off. Day shift is 5 AM TO 5 PM and night shift is 5 PM–5 AM."

Schedule Explanation – Pitman 2-2-3

This position works a 12-hour, 2-2-3 rotating schedule . You will not work Monday through Friday every week . Your scheduled workdays rotate on a 14-day cycle :

2 days ON → 2 days OFF → 3 days ON → 2 days OFF → 2 days ON → 3 days OFF

This means you will work every other weekend , but you will also have a full Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off every other week . You will never work more than 3 consecutive day

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines
• Set up machines and adjust settings as needed for production runs
• Monitor equipment during operation to ensure proper functioning
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Perform basic troubleshooting and report mechanical issues to maintenance
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Keep work area clean and organized in compliance with safety standards
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred
• Ability to read work orders and follow written instructions
• Basic math skills and measurement knowledge
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• You are wearing a respirator and PPE for 8 hours of the day
