St. Luke Lutheran Community is seeking experienced and compassionate PRN Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support our nursing team at our Portage Lakes campus near Turkeyfoot Lake.

Our facility offers a smaller, supportive environment with lower-acuity residents , allowing nurses to focus on quality care while maintaining flexibility in their schedule.
PRN nurses enjoy the ability to pick up shifts based on availability and facility needs , making this a great option for nurses seeking extra hours or schedule flexibility.
PRN Schedule
Flexible scheduling based on staffing needs:
Days: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Evenings: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Nights: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

LPN Responsibilities
Administer medications and treatments

Monitor and document resident conditions

Assist with development and implementation of care plans

Provide nursing care including wound care and catheter care

Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and care team

Supervise and support STNAs

Respond to emergencies and changes in resident condition

Requirements
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

Strong clinical and communication skills

Compassionate, resident-focused care approach

Candidates must complete a pre-employment physical and BCI fingerprinting background check.
