Allegro Fort Lauderdale is hiring a Full-Time Dietary Aide to join our professional dining team. With three shift options available, we can find a schedule that works for your life - in a large, vibrant community where the dining experience is a daily highlight for residents.

Shift Options:

Early Shift | 7:00am-2:30pm
Mid Shift | 10:30am-8:30pm
Evening Shift | 4:00pm-8:30pm

What You'll Do:

• Serve meals with warmth, care, and professionalism to residents who truly appreciate it
• Greet and assist residents and guests throughout the dining experience
• Maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment throughout every shift
• Deliver and retrieve trays as needed and support meal service from start to finish
• Be a dependable, friendly presence that makes every meal feel special

What You Bring:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in hotel dining, an Assisted Living facility, or fine dining - required
• Warm, professional demeanor and strong communication skills
• Dependable, team-oriented, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service
• No certifications required

The primary responsibility of the Server is to accommodate residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.


Areas of Responsibility

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner as well as approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
• Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
• Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
• Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
• Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents' apartments as needed.
• Label and date all food.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
• Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
• Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.
• The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.
• Food serving experience preferred.
