Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive and periodontal dental hygiene care for patients of all ages
• Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and patient education
• Take and review dental radiographs; assist with intraoral scanning and oral cancer screenings as needed
• Partner closely with the doctor and clinical team to support diagnosis and treatment planning
• Educate patients on oral health, home care, and recommended treatment to support long-term wellness
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using Dentrix (preferred)
• Support practice goals by being proactive, efficient, and patient-focused
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment and assist where needed to keep the practice running smoothly

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Virginia
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with Dentrix, VELscope, iTero, and dental lasers is a plus but not required
• Driven, goal-oriented, and motivated to grow with a thriving practice
• Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to patient care
• Team player who values collaboration and a supportive work environment
• Open to working one Saturday as needed and one evening per month
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing practice setting
