Job Description

Embark on a rewarding journey with our team as a Banquet Bartender Captain, a key player in our vibrant events. You will not just serve drinks; you will be the curator of heartfelt moments, an alchemist of flavors, and the heartbeat of our social haven.

• Maintain good rapport with clients
• Coordinate the delivery of requested equipment and beverages for meeting rooms with other departments
• Oversee set up, and implementation of resort special events
• Attend all functions, managing staff for the event, overseeing smooth implementation
• Maintain complete knowledge of the daily scheduled group functions, times, locations, number of people; location of all Hotel function space and names of rooms; all styles of meeting and banquet room settings.
• Coordinate with the Event Management and Sales team on the setup of table linens, skirting, and tabletop items (water pitchers, ashtrays, glasses, and so forth) as specified by group and in accordance with departmental standards. Assist with the setup of routine audio/visual equipment, such as LCD projectors and screens
• Breakdown function areas as scheduled in accordance with departmental procedures.
• Inspect cleanliness and working condition of all equipment and supplies to be set up in function area; rectify any deficiencies.

Pay $50 - $60 / hour (inclusive of gratuity)

Qualifications

• One year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry as a Bartender preferred.
• Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine. Experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred.
• Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work in a fast-paced team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
• Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
