We believe DIY solar has the capacity to reinvent the expensive residential solar category. Role Overview Marketing at CraftStrom is about understanding real customers. We seek a versatile marketing manager who can own the full funnel , from brand awareness to lead generation, content development, and conversion optimization. You’ll work directly with the founders and collaborate across product and sales, to scale a young brand in a fast-growing category. You enjoy testing, learning, and iterating quickly, and you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves in a startup environment. Objectives of the Role Position CraftStrom as the leader in plug-and-play solar + battery systems Create demand across multiple channels (e-commerce, events, retail partnerships) Drive high-quality traffic and conversions on our website Build and optimize a performance-driven customer lifecycle, including retargeting, email, social, and affiliate channels Support product launches and education around emerging standards, incentives, and household energy benefits Support in person during events, such as expos on occasion Key Responsibilities Develop and execute data-driven campaigns across web, social, email, paid media, and influencer/affiliate programs Own and optimize social media channels, and conversion funnels Lead storytelling around product benefits (affordability, resilience, safety, U.S.-compliant design, scalability) Create and manage a content calendar (blog, educational guides, case studies, YouTube scripts, email sequences) Create an educational channel on solar basics, specifically for our market segment Create basic marketing content (e.g. frames, banners, post, etc.) using Adobe applications using existing marketing materials Plan participation in expos and marketing events; support sales enablement materials Track, analyze, and report performance metrics — turning insights into ROI improvements Manage marketing budget to optimize lead gen Build brand consistency across customer touchpoints: packaging, CRM automations, customer onboarding, etc. Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years in marketing roles with measurable campaign results (hardware, clean energy, consumer tech, or e-commerce preferred, startup D2C) Strong storytelling and copywriting skills with the ability to explain technical products simply Proficiency in with the latest market technology tools Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-moving environment Performance-oriented mindset with a creative eye for brand building Experience managing paid digital channels (Meta, Google Ads, etc.) Willingness to travel for events and seasonal marketing programs Existing industry or media relationships a plus Why CraftStrom Shape a category-defining product that expands who can access clean energy High ownership, high impact role — your work directly drives company growth A mission-driven team committed to affordability, accessibility, and innovation CraftStrom is a bootstrapped tech developer for DIY solar and battery solutions.
