HR Generalist
About the Role Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a skilled bilingual (English/Spanish) HR Generalist to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Fremont, CA. This position is responsible for delivering HR services across talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and culture initiatives. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable partnering with leadership to drive HR programs that enhance the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage full-cycle recruiting in partnership with hiring managers.
- Conduct interviews, screenings, and ensure compliance with background checks and I-9/E-Verify.
- Lead new hire orientation and onboarding programs.
- Serve as a resource for employees on policies, benefits, and workplace matters.
- Document employee relations cases and investigations with discretion.
- Handle sensitive issues professionally and confidentially.
- Maintain HR data and prepare reports, dashboards, and trend analyses.
- Use advanced Excel skills for data analysis and insights.
- Administer HR programs including compensation, benefits, and performance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and update policies as needed.
- Support engagement initiatives and site-level culture programs.
- Provide workforce insights to inform planning and decision-making.
- Assist leadership with document management and meeting coordination.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support HR operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems.
- Safety training programs and compliance frameworks.
- Multi-site or high-volume manufacturing experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
- Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
