Sales Manager / Technical Sales – Pneumatic Parts Location: Elk Grove Village, Illinois We are currently seeking a Sales Manager (or equivalent) for a manufacturing company specializing in pneumatic components. The position is based in the U.S., with headquarters in Japan. Company Overview This company is a manufacturer of advanced pneumatic equipment with over 45 years of experience. Its product line includes pneumatic tube fittings, air valves, polyurethane tubing, vacuum ejectors, generators, and filters. It operates globally, with offices in the United States, Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam. Role Overview This role is responsible for sales activities across designated regions in the U.S. and Canada. Manage existing key distributors (MN, CO, CA, TX, NY, NJ, MA, FL, and Ontario, Canada) Support end users and OEMs working with current distributors Develop new customers across the U.S. and Canada (excluding some Midwest areas) Promote and sell pneumatic components with strong technical knowledge This position involves frequent customer visits and requires a proactive approach to developing business, solving problems, and delivering solutions. A strong mindset to achieve targets and contribute to overall company growth is essential. Key Responsibilities Handle all sales activities (RFQ, order and delivery follow-up, inventory management, and forecasting) Build and maintain strong customer relationships Collaborate with internal teams to support operations and resolve issues Track sales targets and work with the Sales Planning team Prepare reports and manage sales pipelines Conduct market research and analyze competitors and growth opportunities Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in pneumatic or related industries (hydraulics, mechanical engineering, automation) Sales experience with strong communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of sales targets Team-oriented mindset Proficiency in Microsoft Office (CRM experience is a plus) Strong English skills (Japanese is a plus, not required) Compensation & Benefits Base salary + performance bonus Health, dental, and 401(k) Career Support Full product training, opportunities for business trips to Japan, and ongoing career development support #J-18808-Ljbffr
